Jackson has research interests in: (1) cultural, social and psychological factors influencing the use and consequences of using information and communication technologies (ICT); (2) the impact of children’s ICT use on cognitive, social, psychological and moral development; (3) culture, gender, cognition, and learning in ICT environments; (4) the digital divide, including the implications for children’s academic performance and adult job outcomes; and (5) racial, ethnic and gender stereotype effects on employment opportunities and organizational outcomes.
